OPEN CALL 2016
Open Call 2016 is for artists of all backgrounds, ages, and nationalities. We accept artists working in all disciplines including drawings, paintings, sculptures, installations, video, etc. All submitted materials will be reviewed by jurors and curators.
Application fee: $10.00 via Paypal (paypal.me/raygalleryny)
ELIGIBILITY
- Must be able to travel for the exhibition and installation.
- Not enrolled in a degree program.
- Have had studio practice outside an academic setting for two or more years.
ALL APPLICATIONS MUST INCLUDE:
- Application Form
- Resume / CV
- Narrative Bio
- Artist Statement
- Up to 10 images. Images must be submitted as JPEG,PNG, or PDF format with filenames formatted as such:
ARTISTLASTNAME_TITLE_1.jpeg.
- A detailed artwork list formatted as follows:
*Image Number (eg. ARTISTLASTNAME_TITLE_1.jpeg)
*Title, year, medium, dimensions
*Any additional information
- Paypal confirmation number for application fee
Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be reviewed.

All application materials and supporting documents must be received by May 1.

Selected artists will be notified by May 30.
Expected exhibition date is through July.
Ray Gallery is an equal opportunity provider. Ray Gallery contributes hospitality and catalogue printing expenses. Other incurring expenses (shipping and travel stipend) must be supported by the artists or other foundations.
